WHY MARTHA?  Growing Up Around the World   Martha grew up in a military family.  Her father served as a fighter pilot in WWII & Korea, at the Pentagon during Vietnam, and as Executive Director of the PGA.  Traveling the world she quickly learned to adapt to new situations and places.  They retired in Pinehurst, NC (For the golf, of course).  It’s all About Family...A Great Heritage Her father grew up in Cades Cove, Tennessee, part of the Great Smokey Mountains National Park, the most visited park in the US.  Her great, great, great, grandfather, John Oliver, was the first permanent settler of the Cove.  The remaining cabins there reflect a historic time past.  Her parents wrote a book about the family & area, Sketches of the Olivers.  It's a great heritage!  This family connection led Martha to attend The University of Tennessee in Knoxville.   A Good Move        She visited Greenville and fell in love with the area.  The mountains & beach were close and Greenville was thriving. She moved to Greenville in 1981.  The Great Outdoors      Her family enjoys the wonderful camping, hiking, fishing, & boating that the Upstate has  to offer.       Camping & Fishing      "FUN" at Lake Keowee                 "Belle" Savvy Career Move       After years in corporate America, Martha was ready for a new challenge, a new career.  Martha decided to become a Realtor® and Mortgage Consultant so she could help others tap into the Greenville lifestyle she and Chris enjoyed.  She immersed herself in every aspect of the Upstate’s real estate market.  In her work helping people tap into the Upstate’s lifestyle, she consistently draws from her vast wealth of knowledge and experience.  Her extensive education and experience allow her to communicate with and enlighten her clientele so they can make sound decisions.  Her years traveling and studying help her to understand the specialized needs and challenges of her clientele looking to invest in the Upstate.  A Seller and Buyer’s Best Friend      Martha’s goal is to make sure her client’s best interest are actively represented.  She is the real estate expert who can help enlighten you to the magic and splendor of South Carolina’s lifestyle, as well as help you navigate its challenging real estate market.
